Parkdale Preschool refurbishment involved working in consultation with a community run organisation.

 

Initially the end goal was to repair and renovate the existing building.

However, during the design process we identified opportunities to add much needed staff amenities and increase the floor area to accommodate additional students. 

 

Working with the preschool, Place Architects were able to:

• Identify defects in the existing building for repair. 

• Work through a design and costing process to obtain government funding. 

• Tender the works and appoint a builder, who was able to work within the tight deadlines.

• Contract administer the works through to completion.
